I stopped going to church about eight years ago, when my parents stop taking me. Bram stoker’s vampire follows these guidelines, and so do most of the movies up to date, except some movies like Twilight. I feel like the author, Stephanie Meyer, broke a “create your own vampire” law here. Christian values in a “supposed to be evil character” movie, isn’t right.

To the people that live in the Oakland area, I know it will be hard for you guys to be safe but it is best to try. I think the people of the community should start a group to help speak out against what is going on because one person can’t do it by themselves.

The Media and the Oscar Grant Verdict

The recent coverage of the trial made me upset because the media had portrayed Oakland’s African American community as wanting to tear down the city by rioting, and acting reckless. These reports caused many to be afraid, or even drive by Oakland during the day the jury had come to a verdict.

Love in the Time of Twilight

I don’t see Twilight as a love story, like so many of the young girls who dream of having a boyfriend like Edward. I see it as a cautionary tale. ‘Cause if you’re not careful, love will suck the life out of you, and all you’ll have is that one other person.

I thought marriage was for better or for worse, till death do us part. It just seems like people don’t take vows seriously now-a-days. I know it wasn’t in his vows to cheat, but what happens to couples trying to work it out and stand by each other. I guess those days are gone.
